Horrific Sudan conflict: Over 120 killed in two days

The ongoing conflict in Sudan has escalated dramatically, with over 120 civilians killed in just two days as the ongoing civil war between General Abdel Fattah al Burhan’s army and the rival Rapid Support Forces.

Intense air strikes and shelling have targeted densely populated areas, causing widespread devastation and suffering.

A devastating barrel bomb attack on the market in Kabkabiya, North Darfur, resulted in the deaths of over 100 people.

The attack has been widely condemned as a war crime, as it targeted a civilian area.

Meanwhile, in Omdurman, heavy artillery has claimed the lives of at least 20 people, including civilians on a bus.

The indiscriminate nature of the attacks underscores the dire humanitarian situation in Sudan.

The conflict has displaced millions of people and triggered a severe food crisis.

International aid agencies have warned that the situation is rapidly deteriorating, with millions at risk of famine.

The international community has urged both sides to cease hostilities and prioritize the protection of civilians.

However, with no end to the violence in sight, the future of Sudan remains uncertain.
