The Sudan Founding Alliance, TASIS, has said that a drone strike in South Kordofan State killed 15 civilians on Saturday.
A civilian truck carrying 37 passengers was hit on a public road between Khami village and Abu Zabad, TASIS said in a statement on Saturday.
It said several other people were injured, with rescue teams and ambulances continuing operations under difficult conditions.
The Founding Alliance blamed General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan’s army drone units for the attack, saying the victims were unarmed civilians.
It also noted that the strike is part of a broader pattern of attacks targeting civilians and infrastructure in Sudan’s conflict areas.
In its statement, the group said such incidents are aimed at spreading fear, worsening instability, and fuelling the ongoing civil war.
“The criminal terrorist army’s drones continue to target unarmed civilians under a repugnant racist doctrine practiced by the terrorist group, its criminal army, and the militias allied with it,” TASIS said.
It further underlined that the attacks are driven by extremist ideology and supported by allied militias backing Burhan’s army.
The Alliance warned that continued escalation could push the conflict towards wider internal violence across Sudanese communities.
It reaffirmed its commitment to national unity and urged citizens to stay alert to what it called attempts to deepen divisions.
