Reports from local authorities indicate that a bus crash in southern Ethiopia has resulted in the tragic deaths of twenty individuals, while more than 30 others have suffered injuries.
The incident occurred in the Oromia region, specifically in the Teltale district, located near the border with Kenya.
Officials from local communications have disclosed that eighteen of the injured sustained severe injuries during the accident.
The bus was en route from Milami, a small town, to a nearby village market when it veered off the road, according to these officials.
Medical assistance is being provided to the injured, who are currently receiving treatment at two nearby hospitals.
