Chinese state broadcaster reported on Friday that China and Zambia have elevated their bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, following his meeting with Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema on Friday morning, emphasized the importance of both nations continuing to bolster their friendship, cooperation, and solidarity, while also reinforcing their collaboration.
Xi also said China and Zambia should safeguard the common interests of developing countries, according to state media.
