
Sierra Leone’s information minister characterized Sunday’s armed assaults on crucial facilities as a deliberate and coordinated strike against the nation’s security.
Despite this, Chernor Bah informed the BBC that the individuals responsible, among them current and former military personnel, were unsuccessful in their attempts.
He mentioned that those apprehended are currently undergoing interrogation.
Efforts are ongoing to track down additional insurgents and escapees from the attacked prisons.
While the nationwide curfew has been lifted, nighttime curfews remain in effect.
