The BBC has revealed extensive evidence pointing towards widespread abuse and torture orchestrated by the late Nigerian founder of one of the world’s largest Christian evangelical congregations.
Numerous former members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations have come forward, leveling serious accusations against TB Joshua, including instances of rape and coercive abortions. These alleged abuses reportedly took place over nearly two decades within a secretive compound in Lagos.
Despite these serious allegations, the Synagogue Church of All Nations has chosen not to respond directly to the accusations, instead stating that previous claims made against them were baseless.
TB Joshua, who passed away in 2021, was renowned as a charismatic and highly successful preacher and televangelist. He established an evangelical empire that attracted the attention of presidents, Premier League footballers, and millions of followers worldwide.
