Israel displaces hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from Gaza

A report by Walla detailed the Israeli army’s displacement of over 250,000 Palestinians from Jabalia refugee camp to “humanitarian zones.”

Unnamed officials cited “Gideon’s Chariots” to prevent fighters’ return to infrastructure.

While “humanitarian zone” locations were unspecified, past areas saw deadly strikes.

The operation may last months, aiming for “complete evacuation” to southern areas with permanent military occupation.

A prior Israeli media report mentioned plans to control 75% of Gaza in two months.

Anadolu reported Palestinians leaving northern Gaza for western Gaza City amid intensified attacks and aid bans, exacerbating famine risks.

Israel’s offensive since October 2023 has killed over 54,300 Palestinians, mostly women and children, raising famine warnings.

The ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for alleged war crimes. Israel also faces a genocide case at the ICJ.
