Israel’s far-right Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu reposted a tweet on Wednesday advocating for the reoccupation of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
The tweet encourages the public to purchase a shirt featuring a map of Israel that includes the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and Sinai Peninsula, with the slogan “Occupation Now,” according to The Times of Israel.
It promotes expanding Israeli sovereignty into Sinai, southern Lebanon, and eventually Jordan.
Eliyahu is a member of the Jewish Power Party, led by far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
There was no immediate response from the extremist minister or his party regarding the report.
