Israeli strike on Gaza home kills dozens of Palestinians

An Israeli airstrike at dawn on Sunday hit a home in Jabalia, northern Gaza, killing and injuring dozens, according to Palestinian medics.

Footage showed bodies wrapped in blankets at a hospital.

Witnesses said the building housed over 30 people, with local media reporting 32 dead, though health officials have not confirmed.

The Civil Emergency Service halted operations amid ongoing Israeli raids since October 5, complicating casualty verification.

Israel stated its forces entered northern Gaza towns to combat Hamas, reportedly killing hundreds.

In Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood, an airstrike killed Wael Al-Khour, a Welfare Ministry official, and his family, according to relatives.

Qatar, the U.S., and Egypt’s mediation attempts for a ceasefire have stalled, as both sides remain entrenched, with Israel vowing to eradicate Hamas after the October 7 attack that killed 1,200 Israelis and took 253 hostages.
