Trump predicts Iran will sign a deal and calls delay foolish

President Donald Trump expressed confidence Monday that Iran would eventually agree to a nuclear deal, despite rising regional tensions.

Speaking at the G7 summit in Canada, Trump told reporters, “I think a deal will be signed, or something will happen. But a deal will be signed.”

Meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump added that Iran would be “foolish” not to reach an agreement with the United States.

Without offering specifics, Trump warned, “As soon as I leave here, we’re going to be doing something. But I have to leave here.”

The president declined to elaborate on his remarks, leaving reporters speculating as he prepares to depart the summit on Tuesday.

Asked whether the United States would support Israeli military efforts to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program, Trump refused to answer directly.

While distancing the U.S. from Israel’s current offensive, Trump praised the strikes and noted that Israel was using American-made weapons.

The comments come amid escalating tensions in the region and growing uncertainty over U.S. involvement in future military actions.
