Trump vows US won’t let terrorists hide in Somalia

US President Donald Trump pledged to prevent “terrorists” from seeking refuge within Somalia’s population.

He asserted this commitment via social media, emphasizing support for the Somali people against potential Houthi influence.

Trump connected this to the Yemeni Houthis’ actions targeting Israeli-linked ships, given Somalia’s proximity to Yemen.

“Time for the terrorists to hide, but it won’t do them any good,” Trump stated.

He credited General Daniel Caine, the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, with empowering US forces.

Trump highlighted Caine’s alleged role in the rapid “obliteration” of ISIS, referencing a past claim that Caine could defeat the group in a week.

Trump reiterated that US “Warfighters” would find and bring these “terrorists” to justice.
