The United Arab Emirates on Wednesday strongly condemned Houthi missile and drone attacks on civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia that left dozens of people injured.
The attacks targeted areas in Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif using ballistic missiles and drones, according to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry described the strikes as a “flagrant violation” of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a threat to the kingdom’s security and stability.
It reaffirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for measures taken by Riyadh to protect the country’s security and stability.
The latest attacks come amid renewed Houthi military activity targeting Saudi territory and regional infrastructure.
