Germany pledged 212 million euros in humanitarian assistance to Sudan, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said Wednesday.
The announcement came at an international conference seeking to raise more than $1 billion in funding commitments.
The aid package, worth about $249.97 million, underscores mounting humanitarian needs across Sudan’s crisis-stricken population.
Delegates gathered as pledges aimed to bolster relief efforts and stabilise worsening conditions on the ground.
