Khartoum police said on Monday they carried out a security campaign targeting vulnerable areas under the jurisdiction of Soba West police station, as part of ongoing efforts to maintain public safety and reduce illegal activities.
The authorities reported that the operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals for stealing electrical devices and solar panels, as well as six people found intoxicated. In addition, two women were detained on charges of selling alcohol.
Khartoum police emphasised that field operations will continue regularly to apprehend offenders and strengthen security in peripheral neighbourhoods and areas known for unlawful activity.
