Kuwait sends aid plane to flood-ravaged Sudan

Kuwait has once again demonstrated its solidarity with Sudan by sending a fourth aid plane to the flood-ravaged country.

The Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society dispatched the plane, carrying 10 tons of food and supplies, to assist those affected by the devastating floods and ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The news, announced by the official Kuwaiti news agency KUNA, highlights Kuwait’s continued commitment to supporting Sudan, which has been grappling with both armed conflict and natural disasters.

The aid plane is part of a larger Kuwaiti air bridge aimed at providing humanitarian relief to the Sudanese people.

Sudanese authorities have reported that the recent heavy rains have claimed the lives of at least 65 people in seven states of the country since June.

The floods have caused widespread damage and displacement, exacerbating the already dire situation in Sudan.

Kuwait’s timely assistance is a testament to its role as a regional humanitarian leader.

As the situation in Sudan continues to evolve, the Kuwaiti government has pledged to provide ongoing support to the affected population.
