The Freedom and Development Party on Sunday described the launch of Sudan’s Transitional Peace Government as the true nascence of independence and freedom after decades of injustice and tyranny.
In a statement, the party congratulated the Sudanese people on what it called a landmark step toward building a new Sudan. It said the creation of the Presidential Council for the Peace Government demonstrated the Sudan Founding Alliance’s capacity to manage the country’s diversity and strike a balance among its varied communities.
The Freedom and Development Party urged sustained efforts to establish a Sudan founded on voluntary unity, democracy, freedom, justice and equality.
