RSF advances across Darfur, pressuring Burhan’s army

Rapid Support Forces have advanced across Darfur, capturing Ad-Khair and pressuring General Abdel Fattah al Burhan’s army positions near Al-Tina.

RSF regains control in Jarjirah, involved in skirmishes with Burhan’s army on Tuesday.

RSF is attempting a two-pronged attack on Al-Tina, from Jarjirah in the south and Ad-Khair in the southeast.

Residents of Karnoi and nearby villages fled toward Chad, with about 7,000 people crossing the border in one week.

Chadian authorities in Tine imposed an 8:00 PM–5:00 AM curfew, exempting Sudanese refugees from crossing restrictions.

Tine in Sudan, adjacent to Chadian Tine, is a key hub for aid and trade, separated by a waterway.

Karnoi, Ambro, and Al-Tina remain Burhan’s last strongholds after the RSF captured most regional cities.

The conflict underscores Darfur’s fragile security, with thousands fleeing and forces preparing for further clashes.
