RSF inflicts heavy losses on SAF, allies across Sudan

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) said they inflicted heavy losses on the Sudanese Armed Forces and their ally, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Terrorist Army, across Darfur and Kordofan.

In a statement, the RSF said its forces destroyed hundreds of military vehicles and other equipment during operations over a two-week period.

The group said clashes took place in several areas, including Rahad al-Nuba, Jabra al-Sheikh, Greijkh, Umm Qurfa and Umm Sayala.

According to the statement, RSF forces destroyed 331 combat and armoured vehicles, seven fuel and supply trucks, and four rocket launchers and cannons.

The RSF also underlined that its forces seized two tanks and three electronic jamming vehicles during the reported operations.

The group described the developments as a major shift on the battlefield, saying its forces had advanced against SAF positions.

The RSF said its fighting force was continuing operations across Kordofan and the Blue Nile region, targeting what it described as enemy strongholds.

It also said that the group captured key strategic locations and weakened opposing defensive positions in several areas.

The group said the advances were part of broader military plans to expand its territorial control across Sudan.

The RSF pledged to continue operations against remaining SAF positions and said it sought to establish what it called a state based on justice and equality.
