Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has pledged to decisively address all civilian violation reports in Gezira State.
After receiving such reports, RSF says it sent instructions to Field Violations and Misconduct Committee, in collaboration with the RSF Gezira State Command, to swiftly confront perpetrators, ensure citizen safety, and promptly resolve complaints.
The RSF statement underscored the groups strict zero-tolerance policy for any actions or behaviors violating citizens’ rights, irrespective of whether these actions are perpetrated by RSF members or criminals aiming to disrupt peace in the tranquil villages of Gezira.
The RSF said it is obligated to address all complaints from citizens in villages in the region and the adjacent areas.
“We are dedicated to actively pursuing, apprehending, and ensuring accountability for those responsible for these offenses,” the group said.
RSF statement assured citizens in the region that the group’s focus remains “on neutralizing the influence of the extremist former regime and rectifying the long-standing injustices against our people.”
“We are dedicated to forging a democratic nation rooted in justice and equality for all Sudanese, supported by a unified professional national army devoted to safeguarding our country and its citizens,” RSF said.
