Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) accused General Abdel Fattah al Burhan’s army on Sunday of carrying out repeated attacks on humanitarian missions and aid convoys in several conflict-affected regions.
In a statement, titled “Violations by the Terrorist Army Against Humanitarian Missions and Convoys,” the RSF said it had documented what it described as deliberate strikes on relief operations and international organisations, stressing the use of artillery fire and drones to disrupt aid deliveries to civilians.
The Forces claimed that a Red Cross mission operating in Khartoum and Bahri was among the targets, along with a World Food Programme (WFP) convoy that it said was bombed in the Mellit area of North Darfur.
According to the RSF, additional humanitarian convoys were struck in Al-Kuma, Mellit, and Zalingei, increasing the risks to displaced communities.
It also said an attack on the Adiri border crossing, known as Adkon Gate, a key route for humanitarian assistance.
The statement further accused the army of bombing the WFP’s headquarters in Sudan’s Blue Nile region, describing the incidents as serious violations of international humanitarian law and part of a systematic campaign against aid efforts.
The RSF said it would continue documenting Burhan’s army violations and share its findings with local and international audiences, calling for those responsible to be held accountable through legal channels.
Sudan’s war has devastated infrastructure and left millions dependent on humanitarian assistance amid worsening insecurity.
