Tension is rising in the city of Babanuosa as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) deploy additional fighters around the area, while the Sudanese army maintains its presence inside the city.
According to Al Arabiya correspondent Nizar Al-Baqdawi, the RSF is “fixing its sights” on Babanuosa, where the Sudanese Armed Forces’ 22nd Infantry Division is currently stationed. The city’s strategic position has made it a focal point in the broader conflict across West Kordofan.
