Saudi Arabia has approved emergency transit visas for Sudanese citizens stranded in neighbouring countries, enabling them to pass through the Kingdom while returning home.
The Sudanese Embassy in Riyadh said applicants must register through designated channels before their information is submitted to Saudi authorities for approval.
Officials confirmed that registration is required to complete entry procedures under the exceptional arrangements linked to the current circumstances.
The embassy added that coordination with Saudi authorities is ongoing to facilitate safe passage for citizens unable to return directly to Sudan.
The measures respond to increasing requests from Sudanese nationals seeking a secure route home through Saudi ports of entry.
