The Foundational Sudan Alliance (TASIS) has strongly condemned Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, warning that the escalation risks pushing the region toward a broader conflict.
In a statement released Wednesday, the alliance described the strikes as a “grave violation” of national sovereignty and international law, accusing Tehran of directly threatening regional stability.
TASIS said the attacks represent a dangerous escalation and a breach of the UN Charter, stressing that targeting Saudi territory constitutes “a direct threat to the security and stability of an independent state.”
The alliance linked the incident to what it described as a wider pattern of Iranian actions across the Gulf, citing previous tensions involving the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Jordan.
“TASIS stands in full solidarity with brotherly states,” the statement said, backing “all measures taken to protect sovereignty, territory, and citizens.”
The group also warned that continued escalation could trigger a wider regional confrontation with global implications, urging restraint and a return to diplomatic solutions.
“TASIS stresses the importance of wisdom, de-escalation, and political dialogue,” the statement added.
The alliance reiterated that Gulf security is inseparable from broader regional and international stability, calling for full adherence to international law and respect for state sovereignty.
