Sudanese in Saudi Arabia gain faster remittance option via new service

The Bank of Khartoum has launched a new money transfer service allowing Sudanese residents in Saudi Arabia to send funds directly home.

Developed in partnership with four major Saudi banks—Arab Bank, Bank Al-Jazira, Al Rajhi Bank, and Bank Albilad—the system removes intermediaries and simplifies remittances.

The bank said the service aims to make transfers faster, cheaper, and more secure while strengthening financial links between Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
