Sudan’s Burhan spreading ‘false rumours’, says RSF

The militia of ousted Sudanese leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan has spread a false rumour that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have imposed a siege on the village of Wad Kabish in the Qatinah area of the White Nile state, the RSF forces have said in a statement on X social media platform.

The rumour is an attempt to sow discord between the RSF and the people of the White Nile, as the RSF advance towards the strongholds of the Burhan militia and extremists in the state, the statement added on late Sunday.

The RSF, which are deployed in the White Nile, have expanded their relationship with the people and provide humanitarian and social services, as evidenced by the testimonies of citizens on social media and in the media.

In contrast, the Burhan militia and extremists have carried out cold-blooded killings of civilians in the White Nile, the bombing of the Qatinah area by the extremist militia, which killed dozens, is a testament to the militia’s savagery, the forces underlined.

The RSF say that the lies and attempts to frame them will not stop their advance towards the remnants of the 18th Division and the end of the rule of terrorist extremists in Sudan.

They will continue to work with the people to achieve their aspirations and cut off the road to the deranged and corrupt, the group claimed.

The RSF also reaffirm their commitment to international humanitarian law and the rules of engagement.

RSF said it will not allow any rogue elements to terrorize or sow fear among the people they said and vowed to protect the people from the Burhan militia and the remnants of the former regime.

“Together, we will build a civilian, democratic state based on justice and equality, and form a single army to protect the land and people of Sudan”, RSF added.
