Sudan’s Peace Government in solidarity with Gulf states against Iran

The Sudan’s Peace Government expressed deep solidarity with Gulf states on Friday after recent Iranian attacks claimed innocent civilian and resident lives.

The Government’s Presidential Council condemned the assaults on Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Jordan as blatant violations of sovereignty.

The statement described the strikes as a direct threat to regional security and stability, representing a serious breach of international law and norms.

The government reaffirmed unwavering support for all measures taken by Gulf nations to defend their territories and citizens from aggression.

The Council denounced the Iranian regime and its proxies, calling their actions an attempt to transform the Gulf into a battlefield of chaos.

Sudan stressed that the security and stability of Gulf Cooperation Council states remain integral to the broader regional peace and protection system.

The Presidential Council urged all parties to exercise wisdom, restraint, and diplomacy, emphasising dialogue as the essential tool to prevent further escalation.
