Sudan’s RSF condemns Burhan’s army for targeting civilians

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has condemned an airstrike targeting the Zamzam displacement camp as a “heinous crime,” blaming al-Burhan army’s aircraft for targeting civilians, worsening the famine crisis.

The RSF’s spokesperson on Monday called the airstrike a violent act by the “terrorist Islamic Movement militia.”

It accused Al Burhan’s army of choosing violence over aid, saying the attack, “worse than hunger,” resulted in the deaths of children and the vulnerable.

The RSF denounced the bombing as a clear breach of international humanitarian law, seeing it as proof of racial genocide and a threat to global standards.

The Forces also argued the attack revealed the militia’s aim to oppress communities seeking autonomy from the central government.

The RSF called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to intervene and stop these forces’ actions.

It urged global leaders to condemn the militia’s leadership and hold them accountable for their “barbaric behavior,” demanding decisive action.

The RSF vowed to protect Sudan’s people from these violent acts, pledging to dismantle terrorist elements.

International observers condemned the airstrike, highlighting the urgent need for a coordinated response to the crisis.
