Sudan’s Presidential Council of the Peace Government (TASIS) has condemned recent attacks targeting several Gulf Arab states, warning they pose a serious threat to regional stability and violate international law.
In a statement issued Friday, the council expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan after strikes that resulted in civilian casualties.
The council said it “strongly condemns” the attacks attributed to Iran, describing them as a clear breach of state sovereignty and a direct threat to security across the Middle East.
Officials extended condolences to the families of those killed and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The statement also reaffirmed support for measures taken by the affected countries to protect their territories and citizens, warning that continued escalation risks widening instability across the region.
The council accused Iranian-backed groups of seeking to expand the conflict, cautioning that such actions could turn the region into “a theatre of war.” It added that the security of Gulf states is an integral part of broader regional stability.
Despite the strong condemnation, the Presidential Council called for restraint and urged all sides to prioritise diplomatic solutions to prevent further escalation.
It stressed that dialogue remains essential to protecting civilians and maintaining regional order.
The statement concluded with prayers for the victims and a call for peace and stability across the region.
