Tasees condemns SAF massacre in Al-Hammadi

The Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasees) has condemned the massacre carried out by General al-Burhan’s army (SAF) and its affiliated terrorist battalions against civilians in Al-Hammadi, located in South Kordofan state.

In a statement released on Thursday, Tasees accused the SAF and its terrorist factions of executing a brutal massacre in Al-Hammadi on Tuesday.

The Alliance stated that civilians were killed in their homes based on their tribal affiliation, identity, and region, highlighting that this attack was part of a broader pattern of violence committed by the remnants of the forces loyal to General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.

Tasees described the Al-Hammadi massacre as a repeat of similar incidents that have occurred across Sudan in cities such as Singa, Sennar, Khartoum, and Bahri, as well as in Umm Sumaima this week.

The Alliance noted the consistent nature of these crimes, which have targeted civilians in various regions under the guise of military operations.

The Alliance further criticized the lack of response to these atrocities, pointing to a widespread media blackout and the silence of local and international actors.

Tasees also issued a call to the Sudanese people, the region, and the global community to recognize the ongoing terrorist plots orchestrated by the Islamic Movement group. Operating under the false pretense of the “Sudanese Army,” the group, according to Tasees, is disconnected from the interests of the Sudanese people and the defense of their land.
