Turkey’s Erdogan meets Burhan in Ankara

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks in Ankara on Tuesday with Sudan’s General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, focusing on regional stability and bilateral relations.

The discussions centred on efforts to address the ongoing conflict in Sudan, with Erdogan reaffirming Turkey’s commitment to supporting diplomatic initiatives aimed at ending the violence and restoring peace.

According to Turkey’s Communications Directorate, the meeting also reviewed avenues for expanding cooperation between the two countries, including trade, agriculture, energy, and defence sectors.
