US adviser Boulos presses urgent aid talks amid Sudan crisis

US President’s senior adviser on Arab and African affairs, Massad Boulos, said he has held talks with Doctors Without Borders on Sudan’s rapidly worsening humanitarian crisis.

Boulos said he spoke with Javed Abdel Moneim, a senior official at the medical charity, as conditions for civilians continue to deteriorate.

In a post on X, he said the discussions reaffirmed a shared commitment to deliver urgent assistance to those most in need.

He added that any response must be grounded in realities on the ground, as Sudan’s conflict deepens civilian suffering and pushes humanitarian capacity to the brink.
