
A U.S. State Department delegation visited the Sudan–Central African Republic border to meet displaced Sudanese families.
The team, including chief auditor and Deputy Assistant Secretary Trotman, assessed the impact of U.S. aid programs.
Officials also met local relief partners to evaluate services for those fleeing conflict across Sudan.
The U.S. Embassy in Khartoum said the visit supports humanitarian oversight and ensures aid reaches those in need.
The Trump administration reaffirmed its commitment to ending the conflict and enabling safe returns for displaced families.
