At least 14 people died and 29 were injured in a collision between a bus and a truck on Thursday in Mali, according to the transport ministry.
The crash occurred around 6:00 am (0600 GMT) on a major road near Fana, east of Bamako.
The bus was traveling from Fana to Bamako, while the truck was going in the opposite direction.
The ministry did not provide additional details about the accident.
An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause.
In Mali, road accidents are frequent, often due to poor road and vehicle conditions, combined with human error.
Earlier in July, a collision between two buses in central Mali resulted in 16 fatalities.
