RSF detains 30 civilians in North Kordofan over alleged SAF ties

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) detained about 30 civilians in the Al-Mazroub area west of Bara, North Kordofan, on Monday for allegedly collaborating with General al-Burhan’s army (SAF), local sources said.

Witnesses told media that an armed RSF unit seized several people from the Al-Mazroub market and transferred them to an undisclosed location for questioning. The RSF pledged to release the detainees after the investigations conclude, the sources added.

Al-Mazroub was hit by a drone strike on Oct. 17 that killed more than 20 people, including Majaneen tribal leader Prince Suleiman Jaber Jumaa Sahl and other local figures. The RSF and SAF have traded blame over responsibility for that attack.
