Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces said they are not receiving support from any foreign actor, expressing regret over what they described as “biased and unfair statements” directed at them.
In an official statement, the RSF stressed its commitment to the humanitarian truce, saying it recognises the importance of the pause in addressing the devastation caused by the conflict. The group added that it has already submitted its response to the proposed ceasefire, yet has not received any reply from the US side.
The declaration comes as international pressure continues to mount on Sudan’s warring parties to halt the fighting and allow humanitarian aid to reach affected areas.
