The Sudanese consulate in Jeddah said it has completed reviewing applications submitted by citizens seeking emergency transit visas through Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, the consulate said applicants will be contacted directly to inform them of the next steps in the process.
The update follows a March 3 announcement inviting Sudanese nationals arriving from neighbouring countries to apply for transit visas amid ongoing regional challenges.
Officials said all applications submitted through the previously shared online link were received and reviewed in line with the approved procedures.
The consulate added that the earlier application link was suspended for technical reasons and replaced with an updated online submission portal.
Authorities urged citizens who had already registered not to submit additional applications, warning that repeated requests will not speed up the review process.
The mission also asked applicants to direct any inquiries through its official communication channels.
It encouraged citizens to follow updates issued by the consulate and avoid relying on unofficial or unreliable information sources.
The consulate said it remains committed to assisting Sudanese nationals as they arrange travel during the current circumstances.
According to the statement, the measures are intended to streamline procedures and ensure applicants receive clear guidance through official channels.
