Civilians in Sudan’s conflict zones have described killings, looting and forced displacement in a series of testimonies released by the Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS), offering a stark account of life under ongoing fighting.
In the video, multiple witnesses recount what they say were attacks by General al-Burhan’s SAF, with one man describing how troops entered their area and “started shooting randomly,” forcing residents to flee.
“They came into the village with weapons… people ran in all directions,” one speaker says, describing scenes of panic as gunfire erupted.
Another testimony alleges that homes were looted and burned, with civilians left without food or shelter.
“They took everything — even what little we had,” a witness says, adding that families were forced to abandon their belongings and escape.
Several speakers describe killings during the attacks, claiming that civilians were shot while trying to flee.
“People were killed in front of us,” one man recounts, saying the violence left entire communities displaced.
Women in the video also speak of fear and insecurity, describing nights spent hiding and uncertainty over whether they could return home.
“We don’t feel safe anymore… we just want protection,” one woman says.
The testimonies paint a picture of widespread displacement, with civilians describing movement from village to village in search of safety, often without access to food, water or medical care.
TASIS, which is aligned with the Rapid Support Forces, has increasingly published such videos to highlight conditions in areas affected by the war.
Sudan’s war has displaced millions and triggered a deepening humanitarian crisis, with civilians continuing to bear the brunt of the fighting.
