RSF repels Islamic Movement Army on Kazgil, Hamadi

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) said it repelled an attack on Saturday along the Kazgil and Hamadi axes, describing the fighting as intense.

The Forces said it clashed with the “Islamic Movement Army, terrorist battalions and mercenary groups.”

In a statement on Telegram, the RSF said the battle ended with opposing forces being pushed back following a fierce confrontation.

It said more than 500 enemy fighters were killed, though the figure could not be independently verified.

The RSF added that its forces seized 85 fully equipped combat vehicles, along with artillery and ammunition.

It also reported that more than 40 vehicles used by terrorists were destroyed during the clashes.

The RSF described the outcome as proof of its operational readiness and ability to respond to future attacks.

It warned that any renewed attempts by rival militias to regroup would be met with decisive force.
