Severe rainfall has killed two people in West Kordofan state, according to local authorities, which made the announcement on Monday.
Authorities said torrential rains have affected three states, flooding vulnerable areas and disrupting daily life.
Official figures show 174 people have been directly impacted so far, with West Kordofan the only state reporting deaths linked to the weather.
The heavy rains have worsened an already strained health system, which is also dealing with a growing cholera outbreak.
Health officials are monitoring the situation closely and coordinating the delivery of emergency supplies, including intravenous fluids, to affected areas with support from international humanitarian organisations.
The federal government has accelerated aid shipments as emergency teams struggle to reach remote communities cut off by flooding and damaged infrastructure.
