General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, says there will be no ceasefire, insisting that the war will continue amid fighting with the Rapid Support Forces.
Speaking after Friday prayers in East Nile, Burhan said his army would continue what he called a “needle-digging strategy.”
He ruled out any peace deal, saying there would be no settlement unless the group was dismantled and disarmed.
He also rejected claims that his army could not win the war, criticised those declaring neutrality, and said accountability for alleged wartime violations remained a key objective.
