The Sudanese Founding Alliance, TASIS, said on Saturday that rebuilding state institutions and restoring essential services were national priorities as the country’s war continues.
TASIS spokesperson Ahmed Tagad Lissan said the conflict had damaged government institutions, displaced millions, weakened economic activity and worsened the humanitarian crisis.
He said the alliance’s Government of Peace aimed to rebuild state institutions, protect civilians, restore public trust and strengthen the rule of law.
Lissan said the government would focus on improving security, strengthening public services, reviving the economy and making public administration more transparent and effective.
TASIS said its priorities also included achieving peace, restoring stability and increasing public participation in government.
Lissan acknowledged the scale of Sudan’s challenges but said political will and effective leadership could help build a stable and just state.
He said the Government of Peace sought to establish a new Sudanese state based on peace, stability and the Sudanese Founding Charter.
The transition would also follow the principles of Sudan’s 2025 Transitional Constitution, he said.
