
Sudan’s Red Crescent Society distributed malaria prevention posters to hospitals across River Nile State on Monday.
The River Nile branch handed over fifty adhesive protocol copies, bolstering health education and epidemic prevention efforts statewide.
Health officials were briefed on a planned reproductive health centre at Al-Damer Hospital, developed jointly with the United Nations Population Fund.
The Red Crescent also outlined an upcoming child protection project spanning Atbara and Al-Damer localities, safeguarding vulnerable young residents there.
Dr Amal Ahmed Majzoub, the state’s health director general, praised the society’s role in strengthening its partnership with the ministry.
