A plane carrying 34 tons of humanitarian aid departed from Misrata, Libya, on Sunday, bound for Syria.
The aid shipment, consisting of food and medical supplies, was welcomed by Syrian officials at Damascus Airport.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Misrata city government in collaboration with the Libyan Red Crescent, aims to support Syria’s ongoing recovery efforts.
A delegation from Misrata accompanied the aid shipment.
