Egypt has urged an end to Israel’s offensive on Gaza and called for unrestricted humanitarian aid to the Palestinian enclave.
The plea came during Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty’s talks in Cairo.
In Cairo, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who was visiting Egypt.
They discussed the Gaza crisis and the situations in Libya, Sudan, Yemen, and the Red Sea.
Abdelatty stated at a joint press conference that their message is to stop the Gaza war and ensure aid reaches the enclave without any conditions.
He emphasized the urgency of the situation.
Egypt supports Türkiye’s willingness to resolve issues with Damascus while safeguarding Syria’s sovereignty.
Abdelatty stressed the importance of Syria’s territorial integrity in any discussions.
On Monday, Fidan met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in El-Alamein.
His visit included tours of Egypt’s al-Arish port, the Rafah border with Gaza, and discussions with local and Arab League officials.
