Bangladesh look to bounce back in ODIs against Afghanistan

Bangladesh cricket team is set to face Afghanistan in a three-match ODI series in Sharjah, as they aim to recover from a recent Test series defeat against South Africa.

The Tigers suffered a humiliating innings and 273-run loss in the second Test, following a seven-wicket defeat in the first.

Uncapped fast bowler Nahid Rana has been included in the squad, while key batsman Litton Das remains sidelined due to illness.

Bangladesh currently holds the eighth position in the ICC ODI team rankings, just above Afghanistan at ninth.

However, Afghanistan has demonstrated impressive form in recent limited-overs cricket, notably their victories against England, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka in last year’s World Cup.

The three ODI matches are scheduled for November 6th, 9th, and 11th.
