China sends an aid ship to Sudan

The People’s Republic of China has provided support and donations to Sudan, including a shipment of 1,000 tons of rice and essential medical supplies, to assist Sudan during the ongoing circumstances.

Mr. Gamal El-Nil Abdullah, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development and the head of the specialized humanitarian emergency committee, met with the Acting Ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in Sudan at his office in Port Sudan.

He emphasized that China’s support extends as a continuation of long-standing significant assistance and praised the efforts of the People’s Republic of China in providing support to Sudan, especially in the current circumstances.

The Acting Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Sudan mentioned that discussions were held on how to receive the Chinese donation for Sudan, expressing hope that the Sudanese people would benefit from this support during the humanitarian challenges facing the country.
