
Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), expressed his heartfelt condolences on the death of Pope Francis, lauding him as a global symbol of peace, love, and justice.
In his message, Daglo described Pope Francis as a tireless advocate for humanity, emphasizing the pontiff’s lifelong dedication to promoting tolerance, coexistence, and the values of justice. He praised the Catholic Church’s enduring role in safeguarding human dignity and fostering dialogue in times of conflict.
The RSF Commander also reflected on the struggle in Sudan, stating that while war was thrust upon the country, the RSF has remained committed to defending its people and preserving national unity. He reiterated his belief in peace and dialogue as the path to resolution, values that align with the teachings of Pope Francis.
Dagalo offered his condolences to the Catholic Church and Christians worldwide, expressing hope that Pope Francis’s legacy would continue to inspire efforts toward global peace.
