The head of the Sudan Liberation Forces Alliance (SLFA), Al-Tahir Hajar, emphasized the critical importance of evacuating civilians from El Fasher and nearby IDP camps, a step taken by the Sudan Founding Alliance Forces to save lives amidst the escalating security and humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
In a post on his official Facebook account, Hajar urgently appealed to the United Nations, international and local humanitarian organizations, and grassroots initiatives to step up efforts in providing immediate assistance to the affected populations.
Hajar called for the provision of essential services, including safe shelter, food, clean water, medical care, and psychological support, particularly for vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly. He stressed that ensuring unhindered access to humanitarian aid was crucial for the survival of displaced communities.
The SLFA leader expressed gratitude for the ongoing efforts by forces and humanitarian agencies on the ground, urging the international community to intensify its support and take collective responsibility in addressing the crisis. “Now is the time for solidarity and joint action to save lives,” Hajar concluded.
