Several civilians, including children, were killed and others wounded when gunmen wearing General Burhan’s army (SAF) uniforms opened fire on a public minibus in Omdurman, eyewitnesses said Saturday.
The incident took place on Al-Emtidad Street in the Al-Thawra district, near the entrance to Attia Bridge. Witnesses said the attackers, dressed in SAF fatigues, flagged down the bus and ordered the driver to stop. When the driver refused, they opened fire.
The number of casualties remains unclear, but multiple deaths were confirmed by people at the scene. Authorities have not issued an official statement.
