Presidential Council Chairman Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo has appointed journalist Nizar Sayed Ahmed Farah as undersecretary for presidential council affairs.
The appointment was issued under Presidential Council Decision No. 13 as part of efforts to organise the council’s work, strengthen government institutions and improve its administrative performance.
Under the decision, Sayed Ahmed will monitor the council’s activities, oversee administrative and organisational affairs and help ensure the implementation of its resolutions.
The decision takes effect immediately, with all relevant authorities instructed to implement it.
Dagalo signed the decree on Wednesday in June 2026.
